Admiring Driscoll

The TPCC elders are attending the Desiring God National Conference in Minneapolis soon. Mark Driscoll is one of the featured speakers. I am looking forward to hearing him in person and perhaps even meeting with him to discuss our partnership with the Acts29 Network which Driscoll founded.

Driscoll has managed to grow a super large, doctrinally conservative church in the most unchurched city in America, Seattle Washington. He is young, visionary, reformed and committed to the Gospel.

His approach and personality is considered radical by some (they are correct), but his commitment to the Gospel while yet being culturally relevant (not an easy taks) is recognized by all.

Read his blog here.

NEW ADDITION TO THIS POST: A Review of Driscoll's books, read it here.

(you may be wondering about what 'reformed' means here. I will be posting a series of articles soon about Reformed Theology.)
